We didn’t have the time to put together a Chapter One Session for John and Seema. They are busier than I am, and we finally, got together for engagement portraits . Their wedding, is only a little over a month away. We wanted to take some portraits, to celebrate their engagement, even if we could only get together for a couple of hours. I met them at Carnahan Hall, the venue that they own, where we shot some portraits, had some champagne, and played with some light. We were joined by their lovable, dog human, Chewie, for the first part of the shoot. He’s such a freakin’ ridiculously nice dog. They didn’t ask him to do anything the entire time. He just felt right at home, and when he wanted to, he posed! If he ever finds true love, I’ll shoot his engagement portraits free of charge!
Afterward, they changed into something more comfortable, and we headed out to a local park, to shoot a little more. I really prefer to spend a full day with a couple, getting to know them, showing off their love, but they just didn’t have the time. The good thing, is that we have known each other for a few years now. Seema is a wedding planner, venue owner, coordinator, event planner…and the list goes on. John is now part of all of the shenanigans, as well. So…I’ve had the opportunity, to already fall in love with them and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in Asheville, on July Fourth. Their ceremony is going to be at the North Carolina Arboretum, and the place looks amazing. I can’t wait to have the opportunity to shoot there!
Thank you for following along. I appreciate it very much.
